WHOLE HERBS:
Whole herbs are ground plants with all the constituents
available in nature. The roots, leaves and/or stems of the plants
are used depending on which parts, if any, of the plant are
specified on the label. These herbs are tested for identity using

Chromatography.
STANDARDIZED HERBAL EXTRACTS: (Capsules, Tablets,

Standardized herb extracts are extracts which are diluted to a %
content of the "marker" ingredient. The marker ingredient is
usually the component that is believed to be the essential part
of the herb. It should be noticed that the other constituents of
the herb are also present. However, the other constituents are
not measured.
LIQUID HERBAL EXTRACTS
Herb extracts are derived from the processing of the
constituents of the herbs into a liquid form. All of the
constituents of the herb except for the plant fiber are
transformed to a concentrated liquid form. This concentrate is
either dried to make tablets, encapsulated or is provided as a
liquid. All liquid extracts are free of alcohol.

SASPARILLA ROOT: (Smilax officinalis) Contains sadonin glycosides. Stimulates the body's metabolic processes. Good diuretic. Releases toxins through body secretions.
BAYBERRY BARK: (Myrica certifer) An excellent expectorant. Promotes perspiration and creates good circulation though out the body.. Helps clear congestion.
ECHINACEA: (Angustifolia) Derived from the Purple Cornflower. This herb has a positive effect on the immune system. It prevents formation of an enzyme called hyaluronidose, which destroys a natural barrier between healthy tissue and unwanted pathogenic organisms.
LEMON GRASS: (Cymbopogon citratus) Used as a flavoring.
PEPPERMINT: (Mentha piperita) Aids digestion and stimulates the gastric lining in the stomach. Also relaxes stomach muscles and promotes burping. This herb has a calming effect on the body.
CAYENNE PEPPER: (Capsicum frutescens) A digestive aid. Capsacin improves metabolism. Contains vitamin C which is lacking in smoker's bodies.
